Carousel Tract (Former KAST Property Tank Farm) FALL 2016 Community Update Cluster 1 Returns Home; Cluster 2 Cleanup Underway The Carousel community cleanup for Cluster 1 is complete and residents have moved back home. Below is an overview of the journey Cluster 1 residents undertook during the cleanup and their time in temporary housing: This graphic shows the key milestones that the first group of residents who temporarily moved out of their homes for the cleanup experienced. ! October 2015: Shell held meetings with Cluster 1 residents several months before they were scheduled to move out to discuss temporary accommodations, moving timeline, cleanup activities, landscaping and paint, and security for each property.

features!were!inventoried!and!documented,!and!each!homeowner!made!decisions!about!landscaping,!

! March!2016:!Cluster!1!residents!visited!temporary!housing!locations!to!decide!which!site!would!work!best!for!
their!household.!!
! April!2016:!Residents!were!given!a!fourHweek!notice!of!
the!moveHout!date!and!received!temporary!housing!
packets!containing!important!information!about!the!
upcoming!move.!
! AprilHMay!2016:!Property!conditions!were!assessed.!
Cluster!1!residents!picked!up!keys!to!their!temporary!
homes.!
! By!May!8,!2016!Cluster!1!residents!moved!out!and!the!
sound!walls!went!up.!
! By!midHSeptember!2016,!Cluster!1!cleanup!and!
restoration!was!complete!and!residents!checked!and!
confirmed!all!items!on!their!property!surveys!before!
moving!back!home.!!
