The weather in January has just been too cold, too wet, just too yucky to do anything much outside, so apparently you’ve all focused on your quilting! We’ve been inundated with special design re-quests, and the variety is amazing. The number pano 002 was created for a Saduko puzzle quilt, and we really weren’t sure we wanted to know what the rat pattern was for! The graduation quilts are already underway: We’ve got the 2010 pano & 2010 border, and the graduation pano 001, and the ribbon 2010 patterns for those quilts. Hearts Aflutter Layout

Ribbon Nevaeh: This pattern was designed specifically to be viewed from the back of the quilt! Got one of those incredi-bly busy little girl quilt tops? When quilted with a much plainer backing, this pattern displays the word “HEAVEN”. This pat-tern is also concatenating, so you can combine it with ribbon dance pattern.

Rupert Swag Layout:

These two swag border patterns, shown with both stitched above, can be quilted sepa-rately. I think the simple curved stitching is a great way to both mark the cutting line in preparation for bias binding while at the same time, it holds the edges together to pre-vent a miscut of one layer. This was created for this pattern set, but it will work with most of the Sweet Dreams Quilt Studio swag border patterns.
