In this ‘flipped’ class, math is learned at your own pace. Miss a day? Not a problem — lessons are available online. Up next: Geometry (starting March 19). EVENING Ready Math - Algebra Session - 5-6:30 pm, Monday-Thursday NEW NIGHT CLASS! The evening option you’ve been waiting for. Just like the morning class, but this one you can actually fit into your busy work schedule. ‘Flipped’ style — come learn what we mean. What’s up? Current Events - 2-2:50 pm, Monday-Thursday Can the president do that? Want to know the latest happenings in town or the state? This class will spark discussion about current events while providing GED prep. Math in the Workplace - 1-1:50 pm, Monday-Thursday We get it. Math isn’t your thing. You think “I just don’t get it” or “Why are there letters in there?!” This class will help you sharpen your basic math skills for your next job. Online and In-Person GED Tutoring - 3-4 pm, Monday-Thursday Sometimes you need one-on-one time to learn those tough subjects. Get tutoring from a GED wizard at TLC or even at home! Computer Open Lab - 9:30-11 am, Tuesdays and Thursdays Get help with computer skills, your resúmé and job search. Juneau Construction Academy and Welding Training Free construction training. Class schedules vary. Free welding training. Get connected to employ- ers and unions. Visit TLC in person or online for details. Learn English! 9:30-11:30 am, Monday-Wednesday Improve your English in this six-week class that focuses on reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Held at Gruening Park location.
