What is Business ?

Business is a ‘Value Generation Process’: Goods and

services are exchanged for one another or for money.

To "do business" with another company, a business

must engage in some kind of transaction or exchange

of value with that company.

Any commercial, industrial or professional activity

undertaken by an individual or a group.

It is business organization, firm or company

It is a systematic purposeful activity which are

arranged for achieving business goals

It is business organization, where all the resources

(4Ms) of business are arranged in a right proportion

to achieve predetermined goals of a business

Who is Entrepreneur ?

• Entrepreneur is defined as an agent who buys factors

of production at certain prices in order to combine

them into product with a view to selling it at uncertain

prices in future.

• Entrepreneur is defined as one who combines the land

of one, the labor of another and the capital of yet

another and thus produces the product.
