Reference is invited to this office Memo No. 5001(18)-RD/P/NREGA/18S-

05/07 dated, 30.06.2008 regarding engagement of suitable Non Govt. Organisation

(NGO) for assisting the district administration by taking up some of the activities like

awareness generation redressal of grievances, social audit, etc. related to NREGS.

Some of the NGOs are being assisted under the DFID assisted Civil Society Support .

Programme to improve their capacity and a li~t of such NGOs are enclosed h~rewith

for your ready reference. If anyone of the NGOs is working in your district and is

found to be fit to work as a partner to assist the district programme unit for better

implement of NREGS, the same may please be communicated to this end. On

obtaining your views steps will be taken to formally engage the NGO to assist the

NREGS Cell of the district for taking up the works mentioned above.--
