What is the need?There are various civil structures that play very important roles in the modern world like bridges , buildings, power lines, dams, underground tunnels etc. Maintenance of these structures is of paramount importance for the society. Right now maintenance and analysis is carried out by people who are endangering their lives during inspection of these civil structures. There is a better way of doing this with autonomous drones.

What is the service?We propose a solution which involves an autonomous drone which takes data on the structures eg. Cracks on the surface, bending of any beams loose connection in power lines etc. This will give enough data for civil engineers to correct damages in structures and prevent disasters.

How will it work?Our drone will comprise of sensors like ultrasound, 3d camera etc. Thus allowing the drone to make a complete 3d model of the structures. There will be a swarm of drones that will work autonomously to make this model on a hand held device including cracks and defects which will be pointed out clearly.
