Caldwell Tanks $19,250,000.00 The lowest, responsive and responsible bidder is Landmark Structures. Recommend the City award this contract to Landmark Structures in the amount of $14,378,000.00. CIP budgeted amount for Capital Project #WM4113, #WM4136 and #WM4137 is $16,530,000.00. It’s funding and supplement source is from 5529999-658650 (CIP IMPROVEMENT FUND). Capital Project #WM4113, #WM4136, #WM4137 is located outside city. FINANCIAL IMPACT: #WM4113 Fire Protection will be inadequate in this area in the future if Tank is not improved upon. #WM4136 Fire Protection will be inadequate in this area in the future if Tank is not improved upon. #WM4137 Fire Protection will be inadequate in this area in the future if Tank is not improved upon. Also will assist Lake Murray system operations All tanks construction is for improvement of flow and presure in infrastructure operation to the City of Columbia

2:00 p.m. on July 3, 2014 in the seventh floor Conference Room, 1136 Washington Street.

The bids were as follows (lowest to highest):

Subcontracting Outreach Program due to the specialty nature of the scope of work.

Tank companies typically self-perform tank construction.

There are two (2) local subcontractors participating in this project. (See Attachment 4)
