organized a bike

ride from Russel

Street to theUrbanunitofCINIinRafi

Ahmed Kidwai

Road.Theyrode in

their Bullets with posters disseminating the

causeofCINI,pertainingtomalnutrition.They

then went to the shelter for the urban

disadvantagedchildren inAmaderBariand

spent some quality time with the children

there.We

are

honored

to

be

associated

with

suchacompassionategroupandhopetohave

manymoresucheventswiththeEasternBulls.

BTech final year

student from

Durgapur

National Institute

On 2nd of December 2011, the Confederation of

India Industries had organized theCSR meet for

the year 2011 in theWilliamsonMagorHall.The

themeof the eventwas Transforming Individual

PracticetoNationalMovementwherethevarious

best practices by different corporate were

showcased along with session for discussion

amongst the present corporate organizations as

wellasNGOsandsocialenterprises,todiscusson

how tobroadbase and furtherpenetrate theCSR

activitiesoftheindustryhousesacrossthenation.

We were indeed happy that Mr. Rajib Halder,

(AdditionalDirector,CINI)was invited as one of

thepanelist in thediscussionof the 1st sessionon

the theme Broadbasing of CSR activities by

Penetrating More in the Rural and by Engaging

SMEandPublicSector.
