Project activities
Project management (WP1)
Västernorrland County Council as Lead Partner has the overall responsibility for the project – keeping track of project performance, reporting and contact point for the Northern Periphery Programme secretariat and administration.
The Lead partner is also responsible for the mandatory communication material and the project dissemination.
Operative part 1 (WP2)
In the first operative part the project will:
1. Map businesses in the regions, both the creative and the traditional industries, to find regional strengths' and areas for successful piloting of crossover collaboration.
2. Gather Good Practises in the partner countries for brokerage functions, awareness and training methodologies and ICT platforms
3. Make SWOT-analysis for the pilot areas and possibilities for crossover collaborations between businesses.
Operative part 2 (WP3)
The project will carry out crossover collaboration pilots with traditional and creative industries, at least one business from each sector. These pilots will generate and develop ideas – new products, development/improvement of already existing products…….
….or services
Design and ITC services, competencies from artist and performing arts as resources in traditional industries as well as services in the tourism industry such as events and other activities for visitors.
In the pilots we will use methods and tools that will be evaluated for their effectiveness. The best practice from the findings will be gathered and accessible in an IT-platform as Cinergy Tool Kit, an open source for anyone to use.
Operativ part 3 (WP4)
In the third part the findings from the pilots will be implemented in Creative Agencies. There will be at least one agency in each partner region, new or developed inside already existing organisations.
The Creative Agency will work as facilitator and broker function for crossover collaborations between traditional and creative businesses.
