A process for making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many successive thin layers of a material.

MAKERSPACE
A makerspace is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and/or collaborate.
3D PRINTER POLICIES
All project files must be pre-approved by the Media Center Professional Staff.
3D PRINTER POLICIES
3D printers will be operated solely by trained Hendrix College faculty and/or staff.
3D PRINTER POLICIES
Files should be in *.STL format for printing. Staff can give direction for converting files if needed.
3D PRINTER POLICIES
Finished projects will be charged by weight, including structural supports needed for the final print. Projects will be charged at $0.10 per gram.
