About the eventThis year’s annual housing event in the Midlands
Region has been re-branded to include the first
annual Midlands awards evening. For the first time,
to recognise housing excellence in the Midlands
region we are holding an annual awards ceremony
during the conference dinner. This year’s conference
is focusing on success and beyond and the CIH
Midlands conference awards will be the perfect
platform to showcase inspiring projects and get
the recognition either you or your organisation or
customers deserve.
The conference and awards dinner will attract up
to 200 housing professionals from the Midlands
region. This year’s conference will be focussing on
success and business transformation. There will be
lively debates taking place throughout the event,
with master class sessions providing practical tips
and case studies and keynote sessions from high
profile speakers demonstrating that the Midlands
can deliver within the challenges that lie ahead.
The conference will feature sessions on how we
do business in the new world; getting Midlands
building, how we do business when customers
are asleep and re-thinking housing strategies.
We have invited a vast array of expert speakers
including: Dennis Turner, former chief economist
for HSBC, Mark Easton, BBC Home Editor, Paul
Tennant, CIH Vice President and Group CEO, Orbit
Group, Helen Collins, Savills, Margaret Allen, HCA
and Gary Fulford, Walsall Housing Group to name
just a few.
