CONTRIBUTION DEADLINE & STOCK GIFTS2014 CONTRIBUTION DEADLINE │ Please submit all 2014 contributions to the church office by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

STOCK GIFTS | Giving stock is a great way to give to the church. For those members who give stock to fulfill pledge obligations or for other purposes, please contact Charles Tuten at the church office (205.345.7261 or charles@fumct.org) with the necessary information as soon as you have notified your broker of the transfer. Stock transfers take several days to process, so make sure to leave enough time for your gift to reach the church by the contribution deadline.

Holy Communion ■ Each month, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Com-munion (The Lord’s Supper/The Eucharist). A sacrament is a “means of grace” through which we experience the love and forgiveness of God. You do not need to be a member of this, or any United Methodist Church in order to receive Communion. The bread and juice are offered for all of us. When we come to Christ’s table we receive the hope and blessing that we need for our lives.*

*Wheat Allergy ■ Gluten-free crackers are available; please simply inform one of us when you come forward to receive Holy Communion.

During the 11:00 AM worship every Sunday, a W.O.W. Host will invite all K-3rd grade students to a children's worship called W.O.W: Wonders of Worship. They will be escorted to the 2nd floor upstairs. Parents pick-up children from W.O.W. room on the 2nd floor at the conclusion of the worship service.
