The Chamber has two big events planned that may help you fight the winter blues. Once again, the Chamber is partnering with the Friends of the Interlochen Public Library to host a Children’s Christmas party on Friday, December 5th from 5-8 p.m. at the Golden Fellowship Hall. The night kicks off at 5 when Santa arrives on a Fire Truck at Tom’s Food Market and lights the community Christmas tree. From there he will go to the Golden Fellowship Hall where he will gladly take requests for Christmas wishes! In Feburary, the Chamber will be joining Interlochen Center for the Arts for “Winterlochen”, a fun-filled day that will include musical and theatrical performances by the students, art displays, games and crafts for the children, food vendors and so much more. If you missed it last year, be sure to stop by Saturday, February 21st. The event starts at 10 am and events will take place throughout the day. It is a wonderful event to share with your entire family. For more information, visit www.interlochenchamber.org/ winterlochen This winter, be sure to try to take advantage of all of the wonderful things the Interlochen Area has to offer, whether it is snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, shop- ping, or dining out, we have it all!
