Greetings from Christian Service Unit, India!

Pastors Fellowship at Khammam
A Two Day Seminar for CSU Pastors and Evangelists in April at Gollapudi
The main theme was "Guide to
Eternal Life". More than 130
members attended. With the
encouraging words of CSU President,
under the chairmanship of Rev.Paul
Narasimha Rao seminar was
conducted. and 3 Guest speakers from
different places addressed. ASE Bible
School Trainees, Teachers, CSU
Admin staff from Khammam and
specially the Home children helped in
the arrangements. It was a great
blessing in Lenten season.
ASE - Graduation - 6 trainees completed their 10-month program. At the beginning 15
were joined and dropped. - So far 696 were trained in ASE.
Street Preaching and distribution of Bibles and Bible Tracts in the villages by our
evangelists:
Palm & Easter Sunday's were observed for the glory of God at various village congregations.
Baptisms: during the last 3 months 37 were put their faith in
Christ and were
Baptized.
Open Air Gospel Meetings in two village congregations: Salebanjara village and
Satyanarayana Puram village.
Prayer Corner: Every Friday Evening 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. all the ASE trainees and the
some of the CSU staff gather in the Prayer corner to pray for the ministry, projects and
activities. The prayer points are for CSU staff families, Donors, supporters, friends and to
those in need.
Churches and Parsonages:
1. Munukulla Church Anniversary Celebrations: The congregation celebrated its
anniversary. God used the clergy for His glory to minister among other faiths.
With the gift of Dr.George Longstreth
we were able to buy 3 cents land for
religious activities in Munukulla
village in loving memory of
Rev.Dr.John Mark & Mrs.Mable
Vasantha Kumari John Mark.
2. Parsonage at Gollenapadu: The congregation at Gollenapadu saved Rs. 70,000/- during
the last ten years, for the said purpose. Another gift came from UK in memory of Joan
Winton of Purley (who was a great support for the ministry), enabled us to provide a 2 room
house for the Pastor’s family. Dedicated on 29th April 2019. The congregation was happy and
thanked the Joan Wintons family for their gift.
3. The parsonage at Popuru : Dedicated on 28th February 2019. We have provided a small
amount. The congregation contributed the rest.
4. Funds for parsonage at Takellapadu: A special gift from Curt Vincent family. FOCI
enables us to resume construction of parsonage at Takellapadu. Work is in progress.

Mr.Bachu Surya Rao, 87 years
old recently joined in our
Home. He has one son and
daughter. Daughter died. Son
staying with his uncle. At
present we accommodated him
in the annex building of the
Boys home.
Old house (in the mango grove) need repairs to start a primary school at Gollapudi:
Our homes at Gollapudi village comes
under CCI (Child Care Institutions) as per
Juvenile Justice Act 2015, which means the
CCI is a transit home and children should
not stay more than 60 days. There are CCI,
police, child help line committee,
inteligence, education department,
judiciary, medical inspections with regular
intervals. We have to comply with their
criteria like staffing, establishing management committees with locals, arranging
CCTVs above all online daily reporting. We were instructed several times to
establish a School or else closedown the Homes. If a school is established our homes
become a boarding home where the above said inspections will not take place as it is
not CCI anymore. So, please pray to help the many needy and orphaned children.

Extension of Stage at Shanthi High School
A parking shed is being built at the School Ground and flooring work under the
dome has been taken up.
10th Class Public Exams: Altogether 27 children (from Gollapudi Homes - 12 (9 boys
and 3 girls); from Shanthi High School, Khammam - 15 (14 girls and 1 boy) appeared
for the 10th Class Public Examination. Please remember them in your prayers that they
get good scores in their exams. Waiting for the results in couple of days.

Midday Meal (Free Lunches) in 3 centres
11 are receiving free lunches every
day at Gollapudi centre. Mr. Siva
Prasad is the In-charge for this
program.
In Khammam, 15 are receiving
cooked food every day. Mr. Ram
Babu is taking care of this
program.
In Divya Daya Home,
Bonakal 40 are receiving
cooked food every day. Dr.
Israel is taking care of this
program.
Nutritious Food Packets to HIV+
Distribution of Nutritious Food to HIV+ Aids children & elders at Khammam & Badrachalam
A lady Police officer participated in HIV+ Nutritious food pocket distribution .
Rural Health clinics
During the last 3 months 11 village clinics
and 216 patients were consulted and taken
medicines and some patients referred to
St.Mary's Mission Hospital, Khammam .
Charity at Admin. Office
Attended a day seminar on sensitisation program on Foreign Rules and Regulations for
visitors from abroad (FORM-C) at Commissioner of Police Warangal. Trainers from Visa
office Hyderbad. They explained the visa types, rules and regulations for the visitors when
visiting the India.

Nurse Aid course - 12 are going to successfully complete their course soon.
Repairs to the Chapel - Old tiled leaking roof replaced with iron sheets.
24 are scheduled in the
first batch of training,
out of 60 applicants.
