Words from Founder - PresidentDr. Mrs. Maida Raja
It gives me immense pleasure in furnishing the Annual Report of CFHC for the year 2013-14. I’m
indebted to the Lord God almighty for His immense grace and blessings throughout the year without which this report would hold any significance. This eventful year, had enabled us to explore our passions thereby giving birth new projects!
With your contributions, time, effort, dedication and participation in our on-ground efforts, together we have been able to bring about a change in the lives of many children and women.
Ever since we started deploying our work force in equipping our society, there was a deep desire burning inside us to create an avenue for the destitute women which will certainly make them feel home. Nevertheless the God who weighs the earnest desires, graciously enabled us to construct a home-Sanctuary for these special women of our society! Sanctuary is equipped to cater these special women and their families who are in the trauma of rejection and with a clear vision to empower women.
We concentrate on holistic care and supports to the inmates. Self – empowerment is facilitated for the women and girls thereby enabling them to the world of opportunities.
For us as an organization, our commitment, endeavor and initiative is to ensure that these children enjoy a happy and healthy childhood and carving them as citizens of India, makes us to feel happy that knows no boundaries. Our aspiration is to incubate these precious children thereby making them to realize that there is a fair chance for them to overpower their turmoil and excel in this world! CFHC’s is now 28 years old and the sustainability wouldn’t be possible unless there were person like you who had munificently shared your shoulders to support us! With this as a catalyst, we are more inspired to traverse in the vision of nourishing the downtrodden society!
I would like to thank everyone possible – Government officials, our supporters, donors and volunteers, who makes this vital work.
CFHC’s hawk’s eye is on the parentless and neglected children in our perilous society. The children of our home are endowed with all the necessities with utmost care and attention. Furthermore eminence education is embodied to these kids thereby they stand at par with other kids in the society!
CFHC provides counseling to the children both physically and
mentally. The children live in an atmosphere of morning Prayer, play at the evening, timely food, clothing and special attention on their studies are bestowed.
We have totally 32 children in our home. During the year we had 14 admissions due to the poverty conditions at home.

Family is the best place for a child which can facilitate a moral being which lays a strong base for a bright future. Unfortunately a swarm of children are brutally left as orphan while few are made to be an orphan! This poignant situation imparted a great burden in our hearts which instituted Blooming Buds in the year 1998! This has fashioned a prospective platform for both the Indian families and families from other countries to differentiate themselves from the rest by adopting these kids!
We are a licensed organization for adoption for both in-country and inter-country. Blooming Buds works with a foremost duty and responsibility to see that not a single child suffers from loss of parents or long to be a part of a family. With this note we appeal to the prospective adoptive couples of our country and outside, to come forward for parenting the children still waiting for their loving homes.

Being abandoned by her parents the infant passed through the legal procedures and presented before the Child Welfare Committee and admitted to Christ Faith Home for Children as a 5 day old baby. Child Veena was declared for adoption in July 2013 and was adopted. When the parents was asked about their desire to adopt
a kid they said, “We got married in the year 2001 and since then we were taking treatment for baby. We tried with many specialists and doctors but we haven’t succeeded. Finally we decided to go for adoption and approached M/s. Christ Faith Home for Children. We were moved when we saw Baby Jeevitha. After our little angel entered into our family we found that we remain meaningful for existence. The vacuum that ruled earlier in our lives lost its clutches under the reign of our queen! She always reminds us the below quote:-
“A Child is a quest into a better life – an opportunity to change the old pattern and make it new”
We just started to live our new live. Once again our heartiest thanks to M/s. Christ Faith Home for Children.”

“Sanctuary” means the place for Shelter and safety. This is a place specially constituted for the destitute women. Different sects of women come here to get Social, economical, counseling and support. This Sanctuary provides them a platform of shelter and strengthens their mind to face the world with boldness, courage and teach them to stand on their own feet.
We have deployed a committee by name “Home Committee” where a Doctor, an Advocate, a Police, social worker and a member from social welfare board meet together once in a month with our inmates to understand their needs and sort out their personal issues if any. They also give counseling and support them emotionally and psychologically.

Mother and Child Rescued
A 2 yr old child was found along with her pregnant mother uncared in the daunted streets of the city on June 26th. With the great help of Social welfare Board, TN both the mother and the child was rescued and sheltered in CFHC. It was so awful to see that the kid toiled within thereby refraining herself to mingle with other kids. However we continued in bestowing love
and care and gradually she joined hands with the other kids and carried a smile there after. Our passion got ignited to see other toddlers carrying her benevolently by sharing their own things like toys which really had attracted the heart of this little kid! We are so moved and understood where the real kind heartedness begins! Praising God and thanking the Social welfare
board for attesting us and gave the privilege to cater these precious ones in our Home!
Chairperson of Tamil Nadu Social Welfare board Mrs. C.R. Saraswathi visited the inmate and her 2 yr old child who was rescued and sheltered by CFHC. The Mother is now under treatment and the child is happily living in the home

These procedures made her to take a bold decision to go back to her relative’s house to take care of her daughter through self-employment. As Rehabilitation we gave her wet grinder when she left for home. Now she is doing tailoring and grinding rice flour and taking care of her daughter.

Then police referred her to our Home for rehabilitation. During the enquiry she said that her father and brothers are working near Kumunachavadi in Chennai. We went in search of her relatives near Kumunachavadi on 7 July 2013 and we came to know about her husband. Next day her husband came to our home and during the counseling session he said that was searching for his wife for last one week. We gave parental counseling to both of them and in the counseling Maragatham’s husband promised us that he will take of the son and Maragatham. at Emmanuel School on 21st December and Christmas gifts were distributed gifts to all students!

By His immense grace we built a permanent open air stage in the campus of Peace Garden where we conduct our events and inaugurated it on 8/12/2013. We also built a residence for our warden and his family to reside. It was dedicated and inaugurated by Mrs. Jebamani Solomon, (92
years old) mother of our Founder/ President Ln. Dr. Mrs. S. Maida Raja. CFHC children entertained the audience with their special dance and drama about “Creation”. Christmas gifts were presented to all the pastors who participate and also Sarees were distributed to old widows as a token of love.
New year 2014We welcomed New Year 2014 with a big smile on our face, a spirit of giving, a sense of humanity and a pledge to spread peace and happiness. God bless you and keep you safe not only on the beginning of the New Year but throughout your life. May this year to be at the best you have ever spent. At this time the management, staff and children and inmates of CFHC THANK YOU once again for your kindness, generosity and for the all time and effort that you have put into making difference in the life of the underprivileged people. We wish you and your family a HAPPY and Blessed New Year 2014.

ConclusionWe find hard to know if there is a better way to say “thank you” that will express more powerfully on how important you are to us. We are so overwhelmed by your love and support. As you have read the annual report, it’s because of your care we are able to share the love of God with people who are deserted and abandoned.
We thank all our donors, well wishers, stake holders and prayer warriors for their constant support, encouragement, material support and above all we would like to extend our appreciation to all people who took time to spend with our children and women at home. Without your support and encouragement this work wouldn’t
