CCLS Carnival!The Carnival is just around the corner!  October 16 & 17 will be fun days around CCLS, and weare counting on our entire community to make the Carnival a success!  Here are some thingsyou should know: Each family is asked to volunteer at least 2­4 hours during the Carnival.  Sign up today on ourVolunteer Spot page.

This is the LAST WEEK to order Carnival T­shirts. Click to order here. They will be delivered to youroldest student's home room the week of the Carnival. Orders will not be acceptedafter October 1.

You can save money by ordering discounted tickets prior to the Carnival using our online TicketOrder Form.

To build excitement around our hallways, we will celebrate "Throwback Thursdays" leading upto the Carnival, beginning next week.  Students are invited to wear "retro" CCLS Carnival t­shirts(along with other uniform attire) to school on Thursdays.

WEBSTER GARDENS ­ NEW MEMBER CLASSCCLS is blessed to be a community with diversebackgrounds as we nurture our children with a Christianeducation.  Whether you have a strong background inthe Christian faith or none at all, you are invited toinvestigate the core beliefs of the Christian faith asunderstood by the Lutheran church in a coursecalled,  What We Believe  at the Lutheran Churchof Webster Gardens. While there is no obligation, completion of the class can lead tomembership in the church.  Beginning September 27th, the course runs forsix  Sunday  mornings from 9:30­10:25 am.  For more information or to sign up,click  here  or contact Michelle Burford, Coordinator of Connections,at michelle@webstergardenschurch.org or 314­961­5275.

Fall Concerts at LHSSLutheran High School South welcomes you to their upcomingconcerts in early October. On Sunday, October 4, at 7:30 pm, thefour LHSS choirs will present their fall concert in South's KulhmannCenter. 

The Mixed Women, Mixed Men, Concert Choir, and LancerSingers are directed by Greg Gastler. On  Monday, October 5,at 7:00 pm, the annual Elementary Choral Festival will culminatewith a concert directed by festival clinician Dr. Charles Brownfrom Concordia University ­ Chicago.  Students from area schools

join together for a day of intense choral experiences in preparation for this concert. Alsofeatured on Monday's concert will be the  LHSS  varsity Lancer Singers and the select JuniorSingers. 

 There is only one bonus this week:   Hallmark  is offering a 2% bonusfrom September 28 ­ October 9. You will receive 5%.
