CHRIS BROWN

DIGI-PACK RESEARCH

Page 2: Chris brown[1]

As you can see white is the dominate colour throughout this album cover, as it stands out it makes it very eye-catching.

The ‘I’ in Chris Brown has been replaced with a microphone. A microphone has been emphasised twice, which has also been noticeable in his other albums covers.

Both the microphone and the background which is speakers emphasises the fact that he is a singer and clearly loves what he does.

The jewellery he is wearing is a classic convention with his genre of music.

The record label logo is very small which shows us that Chris Brown is really the centre of attention.

The graffiti text reflects his ‘gangster’ look that he is trying to portray.

The connotation for the colour white is purity and innocence

Contrast in colour from the front cover, the connotation for yellow is often cheerful and happy, however he doesn’t portray this in his expression.
