ROSA - CUMBIA By now you already know that cumbia is a traditional Colombian rhythm (as well as one of the four basic rhythms you learned at the B1 Instructor Training). “Rosa” in Spanish, as well as “Rose” in English, is used as a common name. This Cumbia starts off by saying that from all types of flowers, the rose - in Spanish: “rosa”- is the most beautiful flower. For this reason, the singer is singing to his beautiful Rosa (his woman).
