Many more open position chords are possible. There are countless chord dictionaries, charts, books, software and gadgets available that catalog hundreds and thousands of chords.

Chord dictionaries are not the answer. Even chord theory does not offer any insight into unraveling the complexity of chord voicings.

Notice the chord shapes and types where the same regardless of the tuning selected. Just the names where different.

Building on these basic open position chords will expand your chord vocabulary.
