essentUlI for Indian youth today than ever before. In the past generatiOns

Indians found their own culture and knowledge sufficient, but today in compe·

tition With theiI wl:ile brothers a more special kind of information is needed.

To keep up wi:h th~ march of time our ancestors accepted the white man's mode

of living aod to live up to these standards our generation is still bridging

the gap betWf."eD Indian ways and white man's ways.

ChilocCQ offers a course in education that is basically home making and

agricultural. lor after all this will be the foundation for the life's work 01 most

of the Indian youths in Ol<lahoma.

For many of the class of '38 there have been other opportunities selected

and followed in courses in baking, printing. cleaning and pressing. barbering.
