July 30, 2010 - Youth Eco-Camp For Bicol River & LakeEcosystem Management

The Naga River, which is a tributary of Bicol River, traverses the commercial districts of Naga

City and Camaligan. Both are recipients of sand and gravel deposits and silt. It is physically

deteriorated with the presence of debris, domestic sewage, industrial effluents and garbage.

While the youth conducted its eco-camp along the riverbanks, the group likewise studied

management of its eco-system to fight degradation in the future.
