Is e-commerce expected to grow in Europe?

European e-commerce market expected to reach €36.8 billion in 2015.Northern European B2C e-commerce is developing extremely well. This is apparent from the new Northern Europe B2C E-commerce Report, published by Ecommerce Europe, the European umbrella organization for 25,000+ companies selling products and/or services online to consumers. The total Northern European e-commerce economy of goods and services sold online amounted to €33.2 billion in 2014 and is expected to grow to €36.8 billion in 2015.

U.S. e-retail sales are expected to grow from $263 billion in 2013 to $414 billion in 2018, a compound annual growth rate of 9.5%, according to a new online retail sales forecast from Forrester Research Increased today. E-retail’s share of total retail sales will continue to inch upward, from 8% in 2013 to 11% in 2018. The dollar growth from the actual 2013 figure of $263 billion to the forecast $414 billion for 2018 is 57.4%.
