Welcome to the Fraser River

We are the Cheam First Nation. We

are from the Pilalt Tribe within the

Sto:lo Territory. We are lived along the

Fraser River—the Sto:lo River—since

the beginning of time.

Welcome to the Cheam Fishing

Village—an ancient fishing village in

our traditional territory. We are in the

beautiful Fraser Valley in southwestern

British Columbia.

Enjoy some of the word’s healthiest

and most abundant salmon, sturgeon

and trout fishing areas, experience the

culture of the First Nations people and

stay in the naturally beautiful

environment beside the river.
