Compass Mission:

Compass aims to diminish stereotypes by challeng-ing long-standing misconceptions about the charac-

ter of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. We accomplish this by emboldening

our youth, promoting pride in our community, and acting as an educator, advocate, health service pro-vider, and focal point for community organizing. As

good neighbors, effective partners, and respected participants in our civic responsibilities, Compass promotes awareness of the caring nature of our

diverse community.

C.H.A.N.G.E. is a strategy for providing HIV counseling, test-ing, and linkage services to your social network—friends and family— who are unaware of their HIV status.

C.H.A.N.G.E. is also a way to show your loved ones just how much you truly care about them by helping them KNOW THEIR STATUS.

What i s C .H.A.N.G.E. ?

How do I help my social network?

You can help your friends and family by simply doing what you do with them everyday, BE THERE FOR THEM.

Invite your friends and family—social network—to come get tested at our beautiful, state of the art facility.

We will show you how to approach and discuss C.H.A.N.G.E. with your social network and provide you with ongoing support.

When can I start?

Compass community center hosts an orientation which is given before initial enrollment into the C.H.A.N.G.E. program.
