Murder Investigation

At 2:00am on Thursday 26th June 2013, you were called to a suspicious death of a man at his home. His name was William Fish, a 30 year old man. He was found with bruising around his body and it appears from the post-mortem report carried out on his body, that he may have been beaten before he was murder. His wife was the one that found him after she returned from a night out. There was no sign of a break in to the house but lots of damage to the inside of the house and the body was found in the living room. He had been in debt with a local gangster. There is also unconfirmed reports that William may have hit his wife or hurt her at some point in the past.

Outcome

The post-mortem found that the man was not killed in murder. In the case of William Fish the post- mortem found that he was home alone and decided to drink as much as possible. He then got upset about his wife cheating on him and started to break things around his house.

He then walked up to bed, tripped and fell down the stairs, bruising himself and cutting his head. He crawled into the living room and died of a hit to the head.
