2. The active leaf of TUFF-DOR3 and TUFF-DOR4 doorsets may be between 826 mm wide and 1200 mm wide. The minimum width of the passive leaf is 450 mm.

3. The maximum height of TUFF-DOR4 doorsets incorporating Surelock McGill Slimline locks is 2.5 m. The maximum height of TUFF-DOR4 doorsets incorporating Surelock McGill Purbrook or Exidor 700 series locks is 2.32 m.

4. Although outside the scope of LPS 1175: Issue 7, special consideration should be paid to the suitability of locking configurations on escape routes. This is because systems will not comply with EN 1125 if the passive leaf does not release independently of the active leaf when the panic device fitted to that leaf is operated.












5. Fail secure only. The resistance of the access control locks to “non-mechanical” attack has not been assessed. This is because it is outside the scope of LPS 1175: Issue 7. Likewise, the approval does not cover possible effects of any susceptibilities relating to the functionality and performance of any access control equipment that may be used to operate these locking systems. This is because the scope of access control devices and system configurations that may be used with these locking systems is “infinite”. It is therefore recommended that specifiers satisfy themselves that the components used are either resistant to mechanical and other forms of tampering/abuse, or that they are suitably protected from such tampering/abuse and are resistant to any environmental conditions/interference that may cause the locking system to disengage.

6. A ‘Plus’ rating demonstrates the cylinder meets the requirements defined in Annex A of BS 3621:2007 or manipulation resistance class ‘1’ defined in LPS 1242: Issue 2.

7. The resistance of the mechatronic cylinders to “non-mechanical” attack has not been assessed. This is because it is outside the scope of LPS 1175: Issue 7. Likewise, the approval does not cover possible effects of any susceptibilities relating to the functionality and performance of ancillary equipment that may be used in conjunction with those cylinders. It is therefore recommended that specifiers satisfy themselves that the components used are either resistant to electronic methods of attack, or that they are suitably protected from such tampering/abuse and are resistant to any environmental conditions/interference that may cause the locking system to disengage.

8. Certification does not cover the use of any options that are not listed. Utilisation of any other options may affect the level of security offered by the doorset.

9. The vison panels are available in various sizes between 150 mm to 450 mm wide and 250 mm to 1400 mm high. The quantity and position of the vision panels depends on the locking hardware fitted. Please refer to manufacturer for more details.

10. The louvre vents and security grilles are available in various sizes between 445 mm to 878 mm wide and 445 mm to 753 mm high. The quantity and position of the louvre vents and security grilles depends on the locking hardware fitted. Please refer to manufacturer for more details.

11. The vision panel may only be used on door leaves greater than 1885 mm high by 570 mm wide.
