BEAUTY AND THE BEASTThe classic “tale as old as time” tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

EXPLORING GRIEF DREAMS - MORNING PRESENTATIONPresented by Joshua Black, MA. The topic of dreams after loss (grief dreams) has been surprisingly overlooked in academic literature, which has hindered the support for the bereaved of all ages. Many of the bereaved have reported that they keep their dream experiences hidden from others due to the judgements people have pertaining to such dreams. What do we make of these dreams and how does it apply to one’s grief? This talk will focus on discussing the top 10 things I have learned from researching dreams of the deceased. EXPLORING GRIEF DREAMS -AFTERNOON WORKSHOPPresented by Joshua Black, MA. This workshop will discuss what led me to this field of research and I will review the research on grief dreams, including my own studies. My PhD research on grief dreams has focused on an adult population that have suffered the death of a romantic partner/spouse, pet dog or cat, and a baby through miscarriage/still birth. There will be a focus in this workshop on learning how to explore these dreams with clients in ways that can facilitate the processing of their grief in a safe space. This is not about dream interpretation, but about what questions to ask based on the imagery. By asking the right questions, the bereaved can connect their dream imagery to waking life, and can open dialogue on concerns or comforts that come from the experience. THE JUPITER REBELLIONSet on a remote mining colony on a far off moon orbiting Jupiter, we follow our unlikely hero Zack Zultana, a bored asteroid miner, who becomes the face of a revolution. Facing off against a billionaire villain, and with romantic entanglements involving a mysterious lady, this science fiction epic is the type of story that one might expect to see played out on the silver screen with a multi-million dollar budget for CGI effects; all done by one man with little more than a couple of chairs, lights, his voice, and a whole lot of enthusiasm. The Jupiter Rebellion: A Zack Zultana Adventure is sponsored by: What’s On!
