REFLEXOLOGY12 yrs+ 30 min by appointment onlyDid you know that the nerve endings in your feet are a road map to all the other areas of your body? Reflexology is an alternative therapeutic treatment based on the idea that areas of the feet, hands, and ears are connected to other areas of the body. By applying pressure and massaging particular areas, the reflexologist can pinpoint specific areas of the body to encourage a beneficial effect or to improve general health and relaxation. Relieve tension, improve circulation and help promote the natural function of related areas of the body. For chronic conditions such as asthma, arthritis, circulatory problems and diabetes, the package of four sessions is recommended for weekly treatment.Member - 30 min sessions Potential Member 1 $49 1 $753 $135

Every donation to the Y ensures that we can change another life for good. Your gift directly helps people experience the joy of personal achievement and connection that you’ve found here.

ONE Y STORY - Anita Nyari has had numerous, major spinal surgeries. At 74, she tells others like her: you have to get out of bed. But, Anita does much more than that at the Y. Her doctors feel that because of her fitness level, her surgeries and recoveries have been much more successful... almost extraordinary. She swims laps six days a week, does treadmill and elliptical work in the gym, and does core work in yoga classes at the YMCA. She’s been a member of our Y since it opened in 1979 and considers the people at the Y her second family. The small group of morning lap swimmers looks to Anita for inspiration, but she feels that they motivate her right back. They meet and go to breakfast every Thursday, too!Through all of Anita’s surgeries, she’s been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and concern from Y staff and friends, many of whom visit her in the hospital and supply her with food and care. In turn, she comes back to the Y as quickly as possible to resume her workouts and her network of support. Anita is an amazing woman who inspires others with her resolve to stay healthy. The Y is proud to be a part of her goals and success.”
