Premier Hazard’s CEIBA software is a suite of playback and analysis tools which integrate with mobile digital video recorders including M3A, X3A, X5 4-channel, X5 8-channel, and S28 16-channel devices. The software runs under Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8. CEIBA provides a clear user interface with functions for finding data by date, event, or vehicle registration. This makes it easy to get straight to the footage of interest and cut, paste, or export the data of interest. Another key feature of the Premier Hazard range of mobile surveillance systems is data integrity and security. CEIBA let you choose how your sensitive data is stored and shared. You can export clips in three ways:

the native proprietary encrypted file which can only be played back on CEIBA software

an “.exe” file which incorporate a mini-player and the chosen footage in it native encrypted format (ideal when you need to share sensitive data with someone who does not have CEIBA installed but you need to maintain a secure file format)

an “.avi” file which is decrypted and will play back in standard tools such as Windows Media Player or Quicktime

This allows you to keep file sizes small by only exporting relevant data (so ideal for emailing clips to third-parties such as a lawyer), and ensuring sensitive data cannot easily be published. Furthermore, CEIBA allows you pixelate areas of video which are irrelevant or too sensitive to show such as faces, registrations etc.

CEIBA allows you to view not only video data but also a host of other recorded information from the vehicle. This includes data from the range of optional input devices via sensor inputs, GPS, shock sensor etc, whereby you see not only raw data values but also time, date, and values achieved when user-definable alarm thresholds have been exceeded:

high-speed & low speed thresholds

G-shock exceeding any value within up to 3 orientations

Battery voltage level

Camera “blind” events (i.e. lens covered or partially covered)

Motion events (including user-definable schedules to avoid alarms during vehicle shifts)

Actuation of up to 8 external latched inputs (high, low or volt-free). Can be used for indicators, brakes, blue or amber lights, siren, headlights, courtesy lights etc.

Dedicated “panic” feature which can be used to not only trigger an alarm event but also lock files, switch cameras, and vary the recording quality

CEIBA can also filter all these events so for instance you can search for all occasions when the doors opened on the vehicle, or all the occasions on which the vehicle exceeded a certain speed. Furthermore, all these events can be exported to Excel directly from the program for further analysis.
