Its been around 3 years Cisco had updated version of CCIE Security. Last update on CCIE Security version came with lot
of changes like addition of devices like Web Security Appliance IronPort S series, ISE Servers, Next Generation Firewalls
5512x series, IP Phones and lot more. Now rumours are that Cisco is again planning to change its version from CCIE
Security Version 4 to Version 5 in some time, which seems to be true.
Cisco is all set to announce the latest version of CCIE Security. This time Cisco may make lot of changes in the current
version and upgrade the certification with many latest technologies.
But there is no official statement/news from Cisco as of now on release date or changes in CCIE Security version.
In the new version, Cisco may replace its old IPS systems with latest Next Generation IPS systems, i.e. NGIPS.
Cisco may also add something on Cisco Adaptive Security Virtual Appliance (ASAv), Cisco NAC Appliance and Cisco
ASA with Fire Power services.
Exact details will come out with official announcement from Cisco.
However Network Bulls is all set for all kind of changes. We already have expert trainers like Vikas Kumar 3xCCIE

all above listed technologies/devices. Being Cisco premier partners, we will get updated Cisco devices within 1 month of
announcements.
For students who are already preparing for CCIE Security Version 4 written and lab exams don't need to worry, Cisco will
provide 6 months of time to candidates preparing for CCIE Security V4 written and lab exams to appear for the exams
after announcements. They can continue preparing for version 4 exams and become CCIE's. Those who won't be able to
pass their CCIE in Version 4, will get free CCIE Security Version 5 bootcamp training from Network Bulls to pass CCIE
