Rumours• In the film it starts when a group of girls, including Katie are walking

towards the school and go past Henry. Katie greets Henry, however she does this is a sarcastic tone as if to mock Henry. Henry is used to this and does not really have many friends and is a lonely character.

• In the next scene it shows Katie receiving a large amount of abusive texts on her phone from her past friends because of a rumour which is going round. Katie is isolated just as Henry is. Henry hears of the rumours because of people bitching about Katie and therefore goes to find her.

• He sees her running into the toilet, as she goes to hide from the gossiping teens. Katie eats lunch in the toilet and then receives a text from Henry to go outside. She does this and to her surprise Henry is lovely to her and is the only one who would actually listen to her about the situation. Henry and Katie become friends and the two opposite people, popular and lonely are able to mix, although unexpected.

Inspiration• In Mean Girls, the main character ends

up having no friends and eats her lunch in the toilet, we have used this idea in our film, to show her isolation.

• In the series Gossip Girl the lonely character Dan has nobody and is disliked by Blare, who is popular. However, Blare and Dan end up liking each other, although very unexpected. This is similar to our film ideas.

Music• The music which we will be using is an upbeat song at

the beginning as it is meant to be a positive beginning, this should be a well known song which is known by most teenagers.• When the short film gets a bit more negative the music

which is in these scenes will get more quiet and will be more slow.

Clothing• The clothing that the main character Katie will be

wearing in the beginning of the film will be bright colours such as pink, this is to show that she is happy by wearing quite a bright colour. However, as Katie gets more sad her colours will go from pink to colours such as grey or black to show her mood changing. • Henry will be wearing quite dull dark colours as he does

not like to stand out from the crowd.
