Principle of OperationThe MicroLogix controller is programmed to utilize discrete information from individual starters or from the PanelView Component. The user is able to start/stop the motors through pushbuttons or through the PanelView Component, depending on the Hand-Off-Auto switch. The PanelView Component is connected to the MicroLogix via an RS-232 communication, allowing the operator interface terminal to provide operator control, status and diagnostic screens via standard templates. Also included in the solution are components for power distribution, circuit protection, connectivity and sensing to round out the requirements for complete control solutions in a cost effective manner.
