Executive Summary

The main motive behind this research was to focus on consumer buying behavior or consumer

 preferences of different brands of shampoos from various segments prevailing in the market and

thus finding out the opportunities for new entrants.

The research was conducted at Amity University Campus, Noida Sector-125 to determine the

shampoo purchase behavior of the female students in the age group of 20-30. The research was

conducted on a sample size of 20 respondents.
