Safe Circuit• A pressure switch in the power lock unit is
activated if the hydraulic pressure falls below a
certain level in a circuit.• An interlock circuit connected with the basic
circuit maintains the safety to detect the

• Internal PreparationCompletely stop the operation of the associated machines, including a press, an injection molding machine, a die
casting machine, and a QDC system.
• External PreparationUse a moving cart to transport and place a mold drawn from a mold rack to an injection molding machine, and
prepare a turnover machine necessary for the mold repair.

Features (Clamp with a Built-in Valve)• A check valve built in the cylinder increases the safety.• A mold is tightly clamped even if the piping and hydraulic hose are
damaged.• The pressure is safely maintained up to 360 hours even i f the
hydraulic line is damaged.• As the cylinder part is separate from the lever part, an equal force is
applied to Tgroove.The grooves are evenly worn down, with an allowable tolerance inclamping.
• Usable for the mold that has no U-groove• The pressure is primarily increased from the operating pressure in
proportion to the cylinder area, and secondarily by the lever.
1. Clamping SystemThe force ‘P’ applied by the piston of a hydraulic cylinder pushes the clampblock on the lever with an inclination of 18 degrees to clamp a mold. A clampblock vertically moves the lever towards a mold for clamping.
2.Clamping ForceAn inclined plane serves as a wedge to enhance the clamping force.
3. SafetyThe calculated component force clamps a mold. The force ‘P’ shall be appliedfrom the opposite direction of the cylinder force to unclamp the mold. Theclamping force is maintained if no pressure is applied due to an oil leak or thedamaged hose.

Features• AFSY type auto clamp is a semi-auto SY clamp attached
with a chain, an air cylinder and a small motor, which allowsautomatic forward and backward movements. No operator
is needed to operate this movable slide clamp.
• A compact design that introduces a hydraulic hose and aproximity switch cable built into a chain to eliminate the
interference of a feed bar from a transfer line.
• A slide roller chain in a movable part prevents the damageby the vibration of press.

Operation• Put a mold in place on a free bearing.• Clamp a top mold to a slide, and then clamp a bottom mold to lower a free bearing by the clamping force, so as to closely touch a
bottom mold with the bolster (Or move a slide downward to closely touch a bottom mold with the bolster, so as to clamp a bottommold).
• If there is any hole or irregularity on the base plane of a mold, attach a steel sheet more than 3.2T to the base plane.• Additionally installing a free bearing on the plate that moves molds may reduce the manpower.
