Cattle Housing...The World Classic 2012 cattle will be housed throughout the week in the front of Barn 3. Your inspectionis welcomed.

Cattle Release...The sale management will assist you with trucking arrangements for your purchases. Please inform theclerks at the time of settlement if you desire assistance. After satisfactory settlement has been made, theanimals will be released anytime after the sale. All animals must be removed from the World Dairy Expogrounds by noon on Sunday, October 7, 2012.

Absentee Bidding...If you are unable to attend the World Classic, feel free to contact the sale management or any member ofthe sales force. They will be happy to assist and represent you at the sale.

Mortality Insurance...Arrangements have been made through Merle Howard Mortality Insurance Agency to offer full mortalitycoverage for your World Classic purchases. Agency staff will be available the evening of the sale to assistyou. An insurance form is printed in the back of the catalog with further information.

Terms...Live Animals:The live animals selling will be subject to the terms and conditions listed in the back of the catalog. Theterms are payment in full sale day, unless prior written arrangements have been made with the consignorand/or the sale management.

First Choices:This is your opportunity to select your choice of resulting offspring from several pregnancies. Terms are asfollows: 25% down sale day, balance on possession when youngest choice reaches four months of age.Seller will provide 9K genomic testing of all resulting calves prior to selection, at buyer's request.

TERMS: The terms are cash or check on sale day payable to TomMorris Ltd, in U.S. funds unless other arrangements are made withthe seller and management prior to the sale. All payments must bemade to the clerk of the sale and no release of animals will be givenuntil satisfactory settlement has been made. Compliance with theabove terms of payment on the part of the buyer will then entitlehim to the guarantees offered by the seller and listed below.

EXPORT SALES: Buyer assumes all responsibility for healthtests required by the importing country.

BIDS: The highest bidder shall be the buyer. Bidding parties ortheir agents are responsible for all bids placed. Every animal or lotpresented for bidding is pledged to absolute sale. In case of dispute,the animal or lot shall be again put up for advance bids, and if thereis no advance bid, the animal or lot shall be sold to the person fromwhom the auctioneer on the stand accepted the last bid. In casetwo or more claim the bid, the auctioneer in the box shall indicatethe party whose bid he recognized. Other claimants will be givenan opportunity to increase the bid, and bidding will be restricted tothe two or more claimants.

BY-BIDDING: Bidding directly or indirectly by the sole ownerof any animal or lot is prohibited. Seller reserves the right to be amember of a buying partnership or syndicate. Bidding by any mem-ber of a partnership, syndicate, or other entity having an ownershipinterest in an animal or lot is permitted.

RISK: All animals located at sale site are at the purchaser’s risk assoon as struck off, but will be cared for free of charge until noonon Sunday, October 7th. Animals are solely at the seller’s risk priorto selling in the event of fire or other eventuality.

TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP: For all RegisteredHolsteinsSM, the transfer of ownership to the buyer will be record-ed on the records of Holstein Association USA and a certificate ofregistration showing that transfer of ownership will be provided tothe buyer free of charge. For embryos, the transfer of ownership tothe buyer will be recorded on the records of Holstein AssociationUSA free of charge to the buyer.

WARRANTIES:1) Each seller warrants clear title to the animal or lot, and the

right to sell same.

2) To the best of the seller’s knowledge, each animal is sound andhealthy in every respect and embryos have been recovered,processed, frozen, transferred and graded in keeping withIETS recommendations, unless otherwise noted in the catalogor announced from the auction stand. Every precaution will betaken to represent the physical condition of each lot exactlyas it is known. Heifers that have never calved are in no wayguaranteed as to the condition of their udders following calv-ing.

3) Breeding Warranty: The seller guarantees all animals to bebreeders, but not beyond the purchase price, with the followingunderstanding:

Females--Any female when sold that has freshened within 90days prior to the date of the sale is, by that fact, considered abreeder. Should any other female when fresh over 90 days failto become pregnant within four months of sale date, or if less

than eighteen months old when sold, fails to become pregnantby the time she reaches the age of 21 months, after having beenbred to a bull known to be a breeder and after having beenexamined or treated by a licensed veterinarian, the matter shallbe reported in writing to the seller within three months of thestated limit. The seller shall then have the privilege of fourmonths’ time in which to prove the animal a breeder by serv-ice to a registered Holstein bull before refunding the purchaseprice or making other settlement satisfactory to the buyer.

Females bred when sold and pronounced in calf are presumedto be pregnant but pregnancy is not guaranteed. The sellermakes no warranty that pregnant cows or heifers will delivercalves or that they will carry calves full term. If, after the saleembryos or oocytes are recovered from a female or anattempt is made to superovulate her, this negates the breedingwarranty unless there is a separate written agreementbetween buyer and seller.

4) Health tests completed for this sale will be disclosed. Theresults of any future health tests are not guaranteed. The sell-er and sale management hereby notify buyers that accordingto the State of Wisconsin ATCP Rule 10.21, all animals are soldas originating from a maximum risk paratuberculosis herd. Theseller and sale management cannot be held liable. Any animalthat is a member of a herd enrolled in an official state super-vised Herd Status Program may be identified as such with sta-tus level shown.

SHIPPING: Assistance will be given in arranging shipping of ani-mals after the sale. All costs, risks and responsibility will be borneby the buyer.

PEDIGREE INFORMATION: All production, classification,type and production summaries are current. Information recordedon Holstein Association USA pedigrees is used in this catalog. Allrecords, except records in progress, are shown on crude proteinscale. Any production records followed by a quotation mark (“)have been supplied by the seller. Donor dams are identified.

GENOMIC INFORMATION: If genomic information on theanimal or embryo is available, it must be dated and disclosed at orbefore the time of sale.

ERRORS: The material in this catalog has been carefully edited.
