New Features

Automatically attached project file

• When you report an issue through CET Designer’s help menu, the current project file will be

attached as part of the attached files.

Replaced CatListFiles with db solution

• The downloader reduced download responsibility from MyConfigura server by only downloading

a portfolio specific url.db3 file that contained all download information of the portfolio.

• Once the downloader knows what to download, it will download the files directly from Amazon

server.

Added elevation in animation properties

• Added elevation in the animation properties before a symbol is being placed.

New Catalogue Details Dialog

• This dialog will completely replace the old catalogue selection dialog in the control panel and in

the catalogue explorer dialog.

• Accessible from control panel and catalogue explorer dialog.

• This dialog allows user to filter and search for designated publisher, manufacturer, product

catalogue and portfolio id.

• The tree view in Catalogue Details is sorted by the publisher, aka the API publisher key, by

default. The second level of the tree view is the actual manufacturer the catalogue belongs to.

• Third level shows the product catalogue name and is based on the product catalogue code set in

the Catalogue Creator.

• Fourth level shows the portfolio id when more than one catalogues with the same product

catalogue code are found (disregarding the file name).

• Users who try to turn on all catalogues in the fourth level will receive a pop-up message and all

catalogues will be turned on and downloaded.

• More information will be shown on the side section if an item in the tree view is clicked.

Information of cloned catalogues are showed in the portfolio info.

• Just like extension details, clicking on Turn on button or Turn off button on the top level would

turn on or turn off all items below.

• Click Available Offline button to download catalogue content to local directory and the content

will be downloaded to local drive and synced if there is any update available.

• The Online only button however will not sync the downloaded content.

• All buttons come with mouse-over tooltips.

Updated replace dialog

• Added tool tips to replace, select source and insert button.

• Fixed issue with 2D/3D bounds.

• Able to place a new symbol from dialog when the symbol properties are changed.

Updated node connector handling

• Clicking on any of the node connector to switch to active node in 2D/3D view instead of switching

it in the property box.

Catalogue Creator

New Features

Blocks project with error from uploading.

• Project with the following errors will be blocked from uploading until they are fixed :

o Feature loop

o No product catalogue name

o No manufacturer name

o No manufacturer code

Able to view all directions in Geometry card’s 3D View

• Now possible to view the underside of the symbol(s).

Supports rotation of an external reference on more than one axis

• Removes rotation angle and rotation vector from Geometry card’s Edit external reference

window.

• Uses the roll, pitch and yaw rotation system, just like model lab.

Included material application as part of “cascade changes to options code” change

Added a right click delete preview menu in Utilities card

Added undo/redo in Model Previews section in Utilities card

Added a preview Url column in Products card

• Detects unsupported file format (non .jpg, .bmp, .png) by turning cell red.

• Editable by selecting and removable by using the <Delete> key.

• Can drag and drop a valid image straight to the preview Url cell/column.

Added an option to filter product previews by “Products with Invalid/No/Unmatched Preview” in Utilities card

• Filter only works for products with assigned thumbnails.

• Useful to filter previews that need rework.

• Products with invalid preview : Assigned preview is a UFO navigation image.

• Products without preview : Product is not assigned to any preview.

• Products with unmatched preview : Assigned preview is unreadable.

• Indicates the product has a readable external reference and is ready to be

rendered.

• Indicates the product’s external reference(s) or preview is unreadable.

Products with such preview cannot be rendered and will be flagged as warning

in the status bar.

Added used/unused/all filter in Geometry card

• Use this filter to sort used/unused items.

• Filter is available in all tabs.

Alphanumerical sort on created product catalogues

Automatically resolve unreferenced product will exclude child products

• The child products that are not used in Table of Contents will not be removed in the automatically

resolve of Product References’s validation task.

Added an option to Remove prefix ‘3’ from PlanView in the SIF exporter dialog

• Previously the “PV=” always has the prefix 3 for all external references with usage type of

3DAndPlanView and PlanView.

• Checking the option will remove the prefix 3 in the “PV=” tag in the exported product-file.

• Works for symbols with the file name of “3” and “3-“.00.0

Added Null and Not Null options in the spreadsheet filters

Added a validation task to automatically remove all leading/trailing spaces

• After validating the project, use “Automatically Resolve” button to remove all leading/trailing

spaces from codes.

Added price list cloning function

• The cloning button is available at Project card’s price lists section.

• The implied values of the currency previews are always 12345.6789 and -12345.6789, regardless

of how they are being rounded.

• The example of how rounding works are shown in this table :

• Make use of Round Negative Opposite together with Round Up or Round Down to determine

how negative price would work.

Allowed user to decide models mapping

• Pop-up message shows up if multiple file formats (cm3D and cmSym) are detected.

• Users are given the choice to choose cm3D or cmSym model mapping one-by-one or by batch.

Supports mapping of separate 2D and 3D model files

• Pops up Model Usage Type dialog if both 2D and 3D model files are detected in the Symbols

directory.

• User can choose to map the 2D and 3D models with planView and 3DView respectively or use 3D

to represent the 2D.

Preview Url turns red when gm is used as preview

• Preview Url cell turns red once a gm file is detected by either drag/dropping or manual editing.

Supports batch update of UI level in Table of Contents (ToC)

• Applies the same UI level to all selected product levels by ctrl + mouse click, shift + mouse click

or ctrl-A.

Added a delete message if failed to delete parent file

• Notify user if user wants to delete parent portfolio’s file without permission.
