Stilo nasce nel 1999 da un’idea di Ludovico Fassitelli, ex campione italiano rally che, sfruttando l’esperienze accumulate in più di quindici anni di gare, ha voluto creare un prodotto che fosse appositamente studiato per piloti e navigatori, tenendo in considerazione un elemento fondamentale che distingue i caschi da rally: l’interfono.Seguendo questa linea guida è nato il casco Stilo WRC: il primo casco disegnato intorno all’interfono.Altro obiettivo raggiunto è stato quello di progettare e produrre una propria linea di interfoni professionali che si distinguessero per l’elevata capacità di cancellare i rumori di fondo, per l’eccellente qualità della voce e per la componentistica appositamente selezionata per garantire performance ed affi dabilità nell’uso su un’auto da competizione.Le caratteristiche dei prodotti Stilo sono state subito apprezzate dai migliori piloti di tutto il mondo tanto che, in soli cinque anni, Stilo è diventata campione del mondo rally con Sebastian Loeb e Daniel Elena nel 2005, titolo che ha vinto anche nel 2006, 2007 e 2008 sempre con Loeb-Elena, ha vinto quattro Dakar consecutive con il team Mitsubishi e ha conquistato svariati titoli nazionali ed europei.La Stilo oggi impiega 30 collaboratori, per la maggior parte appassionati di competizioni, che condividono l’entusiasmo e il perfezionismo di Ludovico Fassitelli.I nostri caschi vengono assemblati a mano pezzo per pezzo, non vengono prodotti in linea di montaggio. Ogni casco viene assemblato completamente da un operatore che lo completa in tutte le sue parti.Mauro, Riccardo, Pino, Diego… sanno perfettamente che l’attenzione e la passione con cui eseguono il proprio lavoro verranno apprezzate da chi utilizzerà un casco Stilo durante una gara: e ne sono orgogliosi, sia che il casco venga utilizzato da un semplice appassionato o da Sebastian Loeb.Lo stesso vale per gli interfoni. Ogni centralina viene assemblata come fosse un pezzo unico e verifi cata direttamente da Dario, il tecnico responsabile del reparto elettronico, anche lui ex pilota.Tutto ciò ci consente di migliorare costantemente la qualità dei nostri prodotti che vengono esportati in 36 Paesi nel mondo, compreso Australia, Canada e Giappone, con una rete di vendita capillare coordinata dal nostro direttore commerciale Elena Perini.Nel 2008 Stilo ha realizzato il casco integrale ST4, omologato anche FIA 8860-2004, che ha subito riscosso grande successo fra i piloti delle varie categorie di gare in circuito. Il design innovativo e funzionale di ST4 sposa appieno la fi losofi a Stilo di integrare nel casco tutto quanto necessario al pilota: interfono, connessioni e drinking system.Tutto ciò per raggiungere il nostro obiettivo: offrire un prodotto che soddisfi le esigenze di ogni pilota, sia esso un semplice appassionato o un professionista.

COMPANY PROFILE

Stilo was founded in 1999 by Ludovico Fassitelli after becoming the Italian rally champion. He has more than 15 years of experience in rallying and had the idea to create a product designed specifi cally for drivers and co-drivers in rallying. The single most important factor for them is the intercom and after this the helmet was designed around it.Following this guideline the Stilo WRC helmet was created: the fi rst helmet to be totally designed around its intercom.Another goal which was rapidly achieved was the design and production of Stilo’s own complete range of professional intercoms. These still stand out for their ability to blank out background noise, but more so for their excellent sound clarity and the quality components from which they are manufactured. Military specifi cation components were vital in order to ensure 100% reliability and to meet the demands of the toughest of motorsport environments.Stilo’s very specifi c features have been appreciated by the best drivers from all around the world, and in only the company’s fi fth year they became World Rally Champions with Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena, and have won the title four consecutive times in 2005/2006/2007 and 2008. Not just the World Rally Championship, Stilo has won four Dakar Rallies in a row with Mitsubishi and also several national and european titles.Stilo employs 30 people, most of them with a passion for motorsport. All of them share the same enthusiasm and perfectionism as Ludovico Fassitelli. Each and everyone of our helmets are hand-assembled piece by piece, a single worker builds each one from scratch and not by a production line manufacturing basis.This manufactering crew namely: Mauro, Riccardo, Pino, Diego… know that the attention to detail and the passion with which they do their job will be appreciated by the competitors who use Stilo helmets in competition. They each take great satisfaction whether the helmet is worn by a clubman or by the World Champion: Sebastien Loeb.The same passion also goes into their intercoms. Each amplifi er is assembled and checked as a unique item by the electronic department and responsible technician Dario, who is an ex driver himself. La linea ST4 Formula è stata studiata per l’utilizzo professionale in pista su auto formula. ST4F1 8860 è stato collaudato da Sebastien Loeb durante il test con la Red Bull F1 e ha confermato le eccellenti caratteristiche aerodinamiche già evidenziate durante i tests di sviluppo. Già omologato Snell 2005, dal 2009 ST4 è stato omologato FIA 8860-2004 (l’omologazione per la Formula 1). L’utilizzo dei migliori materiali e delle migliori tecniche costruttive (autoclave o Air Bag Moulding a seconda dei modelli), unito all’utilizzo di un polistirolo a densità variabile, hanno consentito di ottenere pesi molto contenuti e eccellenti livelli di sicurezza. È disponibile in varie versioni che si differenziano per i materiali utilizzati, carbonio, carbonio/Kevlar, MSF (Multi Sandwich Fiber), e per le omologazioni: Snell 2005 o FIA 8860-2004. È il primo casco predisposto dal costruttore per integrare il sistema per bere che viene fornito come accessorio originale. Equipaggiato di serie con: cuffi e antirumore omologate anche per l’uso in pista, microfono a cancellazione di rumore, connessioni per la radio e per l’ear-plugs.

The ST4 Formula range was designed for the professional circuit usage in Formula cars.ST4F1 8860 was tested at its debut by Sebastien Loeb during the test with Red Bull F1, it has confi rmed its excellent aerodynamic characteristics alreaedy showed during the developing tests. Snell 2005 certifi ed, since 2009 the ST4 is FIA 8860-2004 certifi ed (specifi c homologation for Formula 1). The usage of the best materials and the best building technics (autoclave or Air Bag Moulding, according to models), together with the usage of a EPS (expandable polysterine), allowed the achievement of very low weights and high safety degrees. It is available in various versions which differ for the materials used, carbon, carbon/Kevlar, MSF (Multi Sandwich Fiber) and for the homologations: Snell 2005 or FIA 8860-2004. It is the fi rst helmet prepared by the contructor to integrate the drinking system which is provided as an original accessory. Equipped by default with: earmuffs certifi ed also for circuit usage, noise cancelling microphone, radio and ear-plugs connections.

Cuffi e antirumoreOmologate anche per l’uso in pista, garantiscono un’eccellente insonorizzazione del casco. Non sono dotate di speakers, il cui uso non è consentito in pista: la comunicazione avviene sempre tramite gli ear-plugs. La pressione delle cuffi e sulla testa può essere regolata sostituendo gli speciali spessori in gommapiuma posizionati fra cuffi a e casco.

The ST4 is available also in a version with an internal air ventilation system which enhances the driver’s breathing capability when inside close cockpit cars. It is available for usage with a tube internal diameter of 31 mm or 20 mm.It was designed like the Drinking System to allow the quick evacuation of the driver.

La linea ST4 R/GT è stata studiata per l’utilizzo professionale su auto chiuse sia in pista che nei rally. ST4 è il casco campione del mondo rally 2008 con Sebastien Loeb e il casco vice campione mondiale WTCC con Gabriele Tarquini. Già omologato Snell 2005, dal 2009 ST4 è stato omologato FIA 8860-2004. L’utilizzo dei migliori materiali e delle migliori tecniche costruttive (autoclave o Air Bag Moulding a seconda dei modelli), unito all’utilizzo di un polistirolo a densità variabile, hanno consentito di ottenere pesi molto contenuti e eccellenti livelli di sicurezza. È disponibile in varie versioni che si differenziano per i materiali utilizzati, carbonio, carbonio/Kevlar, MSF (Multi Sandwich Fiber), e per le omologazioni: Snell 2005 o FIA 8860-2004. È il primo casco predisposto dal costruttore per integrare il sistema per bere che viene fornito come accessorio originale. Equipaggiato di serie con: cuffi e antirumore omologate anche per l’uso in pista, microfono a cancellazione di rumore e connessione per l’interfono (versioni R) o connessioni per la radio e per l’ear-plugs (versioni GT).

The line ST4 R/GT was designed for professional usage in closed cars both on circuit and in rallies. ST4 is the 2008 world rally champion Sebastien Loeb’s helmet and the WTCC world vice champion helmet with Gabriele Tarquini. Snell 2005 certifi ed, since 2009 the ST4 is also FIA 8860-2004 certifi ed. The usage of the best materials and the best building technics (autoclave or Air Bag Moulding, according to models), together with the usage of a EPS (expandable polysterine), allowed the achievement of very low weights and high safety degrees. It is available in various versions which differ for the materials used, carbon, carbon/Kevlar, MSF (Multi Sandwich Fiber) and for the homologations: Snell 2005 or FIA 8860-2004. It is the fi rst helmet prepared by the contructor to integrate the drinking system which is provided as an original accessory. Equipped by default with: earmuffs certifi ed also for circuit usage, noise cancelling microphone and intercom connection (R versions) or radio and ear-plugs connections (GT versions).

Cuffi e antirumoreOmologate anche per l’uso in pista, garantiscono un’eccellente insonorizzazione del casco. Nella versione Rally ospitano gli speaker, nella versione GT sono removibili e non sono dotate di speakers, il cui uso non è consentito in pista: la comunicazione avviene sempre tramite gli ear-plugs. La pressione delle cuffi e sulla testa può essere regolata sostituendo gli speciali spessori in spugna posizionati fra cuffi a e casco.

EarmuffsCertifi ed for circuit usage as well they assure the helmet to be perfectly soundproof. In the Rally version they host the speakers, in the GT version they are removable and not fi tted with speakers, which are not permitted on circuit: communication is always carried out through ear plugs.The pressure upon the head can be adjusted by replacing the special foam rubber paddings placed between the earmuff and the helmet.

The ST4 is available also in a version with an internal air ventilation system which enhances the driver’s breathing capability when inside close cockpit cars. It is the only open face helmet specifi cally designed for rally use. It is not a standard helmet fi tted with microphone holder and wiring. Due interfoni, radio, telefono Stilo St-30 S2 è stata appositamente svilup-pata per garantire la migliore comunicazione pilota/navigatore anche sulle Super 2.000, le auto più rumorose che oggi prendono parte ai rally. Two intercoms, radio, phoneStilo’s ST-30 S2 has been developed aiming to assure the best communication driver/co-driver also with Super 2.000, the most noisy cars today taking part in rallies. Stilo ST-30 S is the only rally intercom system that is construc-ted with radio, mobile phone and camera con-nection. The ST-30 S2 contains two separate circuits offering the drivers two different audio levels: in the unikely breakdown of one of these circuits the crews can easily switch between each optins. This is vitally important to save a mass fo time in the stages due to a total lack of communication. The ST-30 S2 is constructed with the most du-rable and reliable connectors available on the market, specifcally engineered and construc-ted for the use in the tough demands of pro-fessional motosport. Caratteristiche audioInterfono 1: eccellente fi ltraggio studiato per ridurre al minimo i rumori di fondo a vantaggio della chiarezza della voce. Il volume dell’audio del pilota e del navigatore sono uguali. Interfono 2: la qualità della voce è uguale all’interfono 1 ma, tramite un diverso bilanciamento della potenza dei microfoni del pilota e del navi-gatore, aumenta il volume della voce del navigatore rispetto ai rumori di fondo. La voce del pilota è più attenuata, quella del navigatore più potente. Se ne sconsiglia l’uso in posizione “Road”. Interfono d’emergenza Puoi passare da un interfono all’altro, anche durante la prova speciale, agendo sullo switch “Intercom 1 – Intercom 2, senza bisogno di discon-nettere i caschi (Fig. 1). I due circuiti non hanno componenti elettroniche in comune, a garanzia che se uno si rompe l’altro rimane operativo: an-che l’alimentazione è realizzata in due parti separate. Inoltre ST-30 S2 è dotata di un sistema che annulla tutte le funzioni accessorie e garantisce la comunicazione interfono, qualora si verifi chi un guasto di un compo-nente dedicato alla sezione radio, telefono e telecamera.Telefono - RadioPuoi collegare ST-30 S2 al telefono cellulare o alla radio e parlare e ascoltare direttamente dai caschi o dalle cuffi e (Fig. 2). Telefono e radio sono operativi quando lo switch è su posizione “Road”, sono esclusi su posizione “Stage”. (Fig. 1)Telefono: per chiamare o rispondere si agisce normalmente sul telefono e si parla e si ascolta direttamente dai caschi o dalle cuffi e. Il cavo di connessione con il telefono può essere staccato dalla centralina ST-30 S2 e collegato direttamente ad una cuffi a per comunicare con l’assistenza anche al di fuori dell’auto, isolati dal rumore, con le mani libere. (Fig. 3)Radio: ricezione continua, trasmissione premendo il tasto PTT.ST-30 S2 è compatibile con i più diffusi apparati radio. Le connessioni con altre radio possono essere effettuate da Stilo (è necessaria la radio presso la sede Stilo).TelecameraPuoi collegare ST-30 S2 alla telecamera e registrare l’audio direttamen-te dalla centralina.

Audio featuresIntercom 1: Excellent fi ltering studied to reduce ground noises to mi-nimum to the advantage of voice clarity. The driver and co-driver audio volumes are the same.Intercom 2: Is designed to assure the same audio quality as that of the Intercom 1 but raising the voume of the co-driver’s voice above ground noises thanks to a different balancing in the power of the driver and co-driver’s microphones. The driver’s voice is lowered and the co-driver’s more powerful. Its usage is not recommended whist in “Road” mode.Emergency circuitSwitching from “intercom 1- intercom 2” allows the crews to switch from one intercom to the other during the stage without disconnecting the helmets. (Fig. 1) Intercom 1 and intercom 2 do not share any com-ponents. In case one breakdown the other will always work, they even have separate power supplies. The ST-30 S2 is designed to give priority to the intercom system, this means that if a radio or telephone, or even camera connection is lost the intercom will always work.Telephone - RadioThe ST-30 S2 has the facility to connect both a mobile phone and radio allowing the crews to speak and listen directly through the helmet or headset. (Fig. 2). These functions are only available in the road mode, thus enabling the crews to concentrate 100% on their instructions while in a special stage. (Fig. 1)Telephone: You can use this facility as you would any other hands free incar system but you will hear the caller in the helmets or headset. The wiring for this facility can be disconnected from the intercom and allow either member of the crew to connect the cable to their helmet or headset and leave the car and carry on a noise free conversation. (Fig. 3). Radio: This facility is continuously receiving a signal although the reception will only be heard when in road mode, communication is available through a push to talk button (PTT). The ST-30 S2 is compatible with a lot of other brands of radio, wiring connections for these can be supplied by STILO, in this case the radio should be sent to STILO for a wiring modifi cation.CameraAn on board camera can also be connected to the ST30 S2, this enables the voices from the intercom system to be recorded with the picture.

AE0301), da installare nelcasco integrale composta da microfono magneto-dinamico a cancellazione di rumore espinotto con doppia connessione per art. CG0002 e per art. AE0300. Una parte (art.AE0300), composta dagli auricolari miniaturizzati con tappi antirumore ear-plugs e spinottoprofessionale miniaturizzato con blocco, ad innesto e sgancio rapidi.Il kit viene fornito in un pratico astuccio. The full face helmet kit consists of two components. The fi rst item AE0301, to be fi tted intothe full face helmet, is of a magnetic-dynamic noise cancelling microphone and a doubleconnection jack for both item CG0002 and item AE0300. SEA System (Stilo Exclusive Anchorage Sy-stem) è l’esclusivo sistema di attacco al collare Hans che elimina i consueti ganci di fi ssaggio metallici.Il SEA System consente una riduzione di peso del casco, lascia più liberi i movimenti della te-sta ed evita il problema che le fi bbie di fi ssag-gio ai ganci ruotino in avanti e impediscano i movimenti della testa.Inoltre, essendo fi ssato in modo permanente al casco, consente di maneggiare meglio l'in-sieme casco-collare Hans all'interno dell'abi-tacolo ed evita il rischio di dimenticarsi un cin-turino sganciato: eventualità molto rischiosa in caso di incidente. Sea System (Stilo Exclusive Anchorage Sy-stem) is a exclusive Hans post anchor system.The SEA system gives a reduction in the weight of our helmets, as it does have the metallic post anchors of the standard Hans system that have been used to date. Not only is it lighter but it will also offer easierhead movements, as the rotation of the strap and buckle, which restricts movement whi-le driving is eliminated on the SEA system design. This offers a lighter, simpler and far less irritating option to the original system for drivers and co-drivers. This ingenious ar-rangement connects your helmet full time to the HANS allowing easier handling and use of both items - something that proves invaluable in the confi ned area of a rally car cockpit. As the SEA system is connected to the helmet full time it eliminates the possibility of connecting just one strap which could prove fatal in an ac-cident.Any Stilo helmets provided with the SEA sy-stem can be used with any type of Hans neck cradle currently sold. You only need to replace Hans neck device straps with the one supplied with our Stilo SEA system helmet. Should the need arise the Stilo SEA system helmet can also be used with standard Hans neck cradle as well.
