SUPPLY OF BOOKS / FORMS TOGOVERNMENT OFFICES

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. No discount is allowed. Prices ruling on the date of supply will

be charged.

2. In addition, VAT will be charged extra as under:—

(a) For dealers — 2% against ‘C’ Form

(b) For others — 5%

NOTE.— The Government has withdrawn the facility of ‘D’ Form

for purchase by Government Departments from 1-4-2007.

3. Orders costing up to ` 1,000 will be executed either on cash

payment or by VPP only. In the case of supplies under VPP system, we do

not issue separate receipts. The VP Cover and our VP Invoice are to be

treated as vouchers by Government Offices vide Note 1 below Rule 206,

CTRs.

4. Orders costing more than ` 1,000 may be executed on Credit Bill

basis only on request. The Books / Forms and Registers will be sent by

Registered Post unless specifically requested by the customers for despatch

by rail or road and the parcel is more than 10 kgs by weight.

5. Packing, Forwarding, Postage, Registration Fee and VP Fee will

be charged extra. No separate vouchers can be furnished for these charges.

Our bill will contain a certificate that these charges have actually been

incurred by us.

6. In the case of despatches by rail or road, packing and forwarding

charges of ` 120 per parcel will be charged. This may vary from time to time

and charges ruling on the date of supply will be claimed. Parcels will be booked

“Freight to Pay”. If booking is not accepted “Freight To Pay”, freight will be

paid by us and charged in the bill. In the case of despatches by road,

requests for transport by any specified service will be complied with only

if it is feasible. Otherwise, the parcels will be sent by any transport service

of our choice.

7. Our liability ceases as soon as the parcels are placed on Rail /

Road Carriers / Post Offices and a clear Receipt obtained. We are not

responsible for any delay or loss in transit or in delivery. Orders stipulating

the condition that the parcel should reach the destination within a specified

date or period will not be executed.

8. Credit Bills should be settled within thirty days from the date of

issue failing which they will carry interest at the rate of 2% per month

from the date of the bill.

9. Payment can be made directly to our bank account through

NEFT / ECS. Bank details for the same is available for download from our

website www.swamypublishers.com. Payments made through NEFT / ECS

must be intimated to us with UTR Number and our Invoice Number for

settlement of bills.

10. Payment can also be made by crossed Demand Draft on any

Bank at Chennai. Payment by Draft will save bank charges. In such cases,

the amount shown in ‘A’ of the bill only need be sent. Cheques on Chennai

Banks are acceptable at par.

11. If the payment is made by outstation cheques, a sum of

` 150 for first Two thousand or part and ` 25 for each subsequent thousand

or part thereof should be added towards collection charges, in addition to

the bill amount, as per the amount noted at ‘B’ of the credit bill.

12. The transactions shall be subject to Jurisdiction of Chennai

Courts only.
