McCall Lake 18 Hole Golf Course 1600 – 32nd Ave. N.E. 403-300-1005 calgary.ca/golf Local rules Out of bounds: white stakes, all fence lines - penalty stroke and distance. In the event of a lost ball, golfers are allowed to drop a ball in the nearest fairway, no closer to the hole, under the penalty of two strokes. • Yellow penalty area: yellow stakes. • Red penalty area: red stakes. One club length relief – roads, pathways, immovable objects. No closer to the hole – no penalty. Two club length relief from tagged trees. No closer to the hole – no penalty. Maximum of two minutes to look for a lost ball. Safety is priority Maintenance workers and equipment have the right of way. Make every effort to get the workers’ acknowledgement prior to making your shot (e.g. yell fore or waving). DO NOT HIT onto the green if the flagstick is out. Once workers or golfers are out of the way, it is safe to hit onto the green. If at any time you or another member of your group loses control or sight of a shot, warn others by shouting "Fore!". Golfers may be held responsible for any personal injury or damage to equipment or property (City owned or privately owned) as a result of not adhering to safety procedures or irresponsible actions. Policies and etiquette The City of Calgary Golf Courses are committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for all staff and customers. No physical or verbal abuse will be tolerated. No walkers or caddies. Only alcohol purchased from the facility is permitted. Outside alcohol will be confiscated. Power cart operators must be over 18 years of age with a valid drivers license. Upon request of golf course staff, proof of payment must be shown at any time while on the golf course. Keep power carts on paths where possible or 30 feet from the edge of greens. Keep pull carts and bags 10 feet from the edge of greens, off tee boxes and out of sand traps. Play only one ball. Mark scores on the next tee not at the green. Replace divots, repair ball marks and rake sandtraps. No practicing on tee boxes or putting surfaces. Golf Canada (RCGA) rules govern all play except where modified by local rules.
