The sports pitch was utilised during construction works which were part of Crossrail's upgrade plans to railways and station across London, improving transport links in and around the city. The newly refurbished pitch was handed back to Whitechapel Sports Centre once the works were complete. The project at Whitechapel is typical of leisure jobs we have been carrying out since 2004.
