thinkproject continues to support Hong Kong International Airport Three-runway System build with SAPR Joint Venture CASE STUDY SAPR-JV thinkproject’s CEMAR software has been assisting with contract management for Airport Authority Hong Kong since 2017 as they construct the Three-runway System for Hong Kong International Airport. CEMAR’s NEC-compliant platform facilitates SAPR-JV, assisting in keeping the HK$6bn ‘Contract 3303’ on-budget and on-schedule. This is a complex build at one of the world’s busiest airports and therefore, all teams are utilising an open and collaborative approach for successful project completion. Paul Y. Construction Company Limited, in joint venture with Sinohydro Corporation Limited, Powerchina Airport Construction Company Limited, and Rock-One Engineering Company Limited have been awarded the Third Runway and Associated Works (Contract 3303) which consists of numerous works relating to the construction of the 3,800-metre runway and supporting infrastructure, including but not limited to taxiway systems and ancillary buildings. The project includes many different facets that must all work together to complete to schedule whilst complying to theArchi- tectural Builders Works and Finishes Standards. We are once again proud to support such a unique and challenging project related to the Three-runway System, which will ensure Hong Kong International Airport is a thriving hub for generations to come.
