• Smaller diameter Under Pressure Tees (UPT) will contain morepressure than larger diameter UPT’s. Cleaning and lubricating boltthreads will reduce friction and permit greater torque

Cascade Stainless Steel Repair ClampsSuitable for cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC andasbestos cement water and gas pipe. Pressureratings to your requirements from 4 bar to 16 bar.

The amount of pressure that a full circle repairclamp will contain is proportionate to the diameterof the pipe being repaired and the amount oftorque applied to the bolts. Smaller diameter repairclamps will contain more pressure than largerdiameter repair clamps. Cleaning and lubricatingbolt threads will reduce friction and permit greater torque.

The pressure containing capability of a repair clamp is influenced by the pipe size, the type andextent of damage to the pipe, environment and service conditions and installation workmanship.

16 Bar Water - 8 Bar Gas

Fabricated in 10mm epoxy coated carbon steel to any sizeyou require with an energiser O-ring gasket for water and afull face gasket for gas and asbestos cement pipes.

Designed for use with under pressure pipe drilling machines onlive mains.

These are a dedicated hot tapping tees so it is important that thepipe is accurately callipered top to bottom and side to side withone measurement at the spot where the outlet will be.

Cascade UPT's for HDPE/MDPECascade under pressure tees for HDPE/MDPEand PVC are simple and quick to fit. They alsooffer larger flanged outlets than the Electrofusion tees giving more options whenconnecting a network and reducing the needto shut down water mains. Sizes to suit pipediameters from 90mm to 630mm.

InstallationThe Cascade mechanical PE tee is more costeffective and easier to install than anelectrofusion tee, they can be fittedanywhere, anytime, in any conditions all thatis necessary is the following:

Prepare pipe surface by gently rubbingdown the contact surface area.

Split the tee into two halves with thebolts facing down allowing the nuts tosit in the recess provided.

Tighten by hand and continuetightening by 5nm increments startingat opposite ends of the fitting workingtowards the middle to a max of 90nm.

Pressure test the fitting to one and halftimes the operating pressure (Themain must be charged to get accurateresult.)

The Cascade P-Fix Flange Adaptor for useon PVC, PVC-O and PE, the fittings designallows it to hold on the pipe by means ofthe gripper ring and thus prevents axialpipe movement.This range covers diameters from 63mm to400mm and can be used without the needfor liners due to its design which stops thefitting from crushing the pipe.Its positive stop feature ensures that therecan be no over tightening creating a safeand secure fit.
