Registration is now complete. The only other deadline coming up for this term is the last day to withdraw from a class or change to S/U grading. More on this as we get closer to the deadline in February, which will be at the end of the seventh week of classes, February19.
College of Agricultural Sciences Ambassador Program:
The college is looking for qualified leaders to serve as student representatives for the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences and Oregon State University as members of the CASAmbassadorTeam . Applications open Monday January 11thand will close on Friday February 5th at 11:55pm. For full details, a link to the position description and application survey visit the BecomeanAmbassadorPage.
Interested undergraduate Corvallis-campus and *Ecampus students are encouraged to apply. *This is the first year that this opportunity will be extended to Ecampus students.
Ambassadors represent CAS at a variety of events and programs that support the college’s recruitment, social media and communication campaigns, current student services, international programs, experiential education, and alumni, donor and industry relations. Ambassadors present information and facilitate discussions at on- and off- campus functions and virtual events, participate in professional conferences, attend alumni and industry events, and give agricultural sciences-related presentations and campus tours. The recruitment and selection of exceptional student leaders is critical to the success of recruitment efforts and support of current students in the college. Participation in the program is an excellent professional and personal development opportunity as well. Students who are selected receive a $1800 scholarship for their year of service.
Please share the attached two slides with your students. The first slide provides general information about the program and application process/timeline. The second slide provides information about an information session interested students can attend on January 21st to learn more.
