Environmental Assessment Report

• Formed the basis of the technical side of the project

• The report outlined:- Challenges on handling research data- Use/reuse of research data- Preservation issues

• The conclusions were:- Researchers agree research data is important

for them, students and the general public- Researchers want to share data- VA researchers document their research process but not using any

standard or methodology

Technical Analysis Report

• Research Question- Which technical system is most suitable for managing visual arts

research data?

• Analysis and assessment of 17 different systems


• Findings- Four systems were very close in terms of grading by partner

institutions- It was recommended an in-depth analysis of 4 systems side by side
