• The top license: Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)• FAA-mandated drug test/smoking•No physical disadvantages•Optional:
•Minimum of two A levels (preferably in math & physics)• Five A-C GCSEs (including math & English)• Possible majors ranging from business-philosophy• Background of technical skills
Qualification
• Firstly needs a Commercial Pilot License (CPL)•Highest level of aircraft pilot license• 1500 hours of experience• 21 years old•About 750 hours of studying under JAA requirements• Subjects include:
• Air law, aircraft general knowledge, flight planning and monitoring, human performance and limitations meteorology, operational procedures, principals of flight, communication, performance, general navigation, radio navigation, instrumentation, weight and balance

• Extrovert• Travelling – there would be a variety of people to meet (passengers, locals, etc.)• Communicating with the passengers
• Intrinsic•Over time, flying a plane just takes instinct to control• Able to find solutions without wasting time
• Thinker•Observing the pilot situation logically•Quick reaction in case of problems (announcements/problems)
•Unstructured• In this area, I couldn’t think of anything that would benefit a pilot --- so working on organizing would probably help control the plane
