OVERVIEWRightFax integrates with Konica Minolta bizhub MFPs to consolidate all faxing services on the

network, giving users convenient access to faxing capabilities on the same devices used daily for

printing, scanning and copying, plus giving the company better control over document flow and

security. With RightFax, users gain both easy walk-up access and a central point of control for

electronic or hard-copy faxing. As a result, organizations can streamline document flow processes

and improve security while reducing the time and cost of administrative tasks.

Integrated with Konica Minolta bizhub MFPs and available exclusively through Konica Minolta or an

authorized dealer, the RightFax MFP Module is the ideal solution for organizations that want a cost-

effective, consolidated solution to electronically capture, process, deliver and track fax documents.

OUTBOUND FAXINGKonica Minolta bizhub MFPs can capture paper documents and route them electronically to the RightFax Server with the RightFax MFP Module Konica Minolta Connector. Users initiate the outgoing fax by using the touchscreen UI. There are four standard options one can initially choose from at the UI:

Once the fax instructions are captured, the document is scanned. The document is converted into a Tagged Image File (TIF) and routed to the RightFax Server with the attached fax instructions. RightFax then converts the TIF to Comité Consultatif Internationale de Télégraphique et Téléphonique (CCITT) Group IV and transmits the document.

INBOUND FAXINGIncoming faxes arrive at the RightFax Server where they can be routed to the Konica Minolta bizhub MFP on the network. Faxes are received in the normal print queue and can then be printed or routed electronically for distribution and retrieval.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INTEGRATION

RightFax MFP Module One RightFax MFP Module with the Konica Minolta Connector is required per RightFax Server, with a license required for each Konica Minolta MFP device on the network.

Konica Minolta An MFP firmware update and utility software are required. Both are available from Konica Minolta or authorized dealers.
