SOHCATOA Cannon This game is intended to teach basics of Trigonometry through a canon game. Canon games have been around for ages and are a classic game. There is a canon on the left and right side of the screen and the objective is to use your canon to destroy the enemy canon. Usually the user will use trial and error to eventually destroy the other canon but with this game we will give the user options to insert the length of the hypotenuse, adjacent or opposite or the angle of shooting. This means that the user has the option to precisely aim the cannon to directly hit the target. When you start the game, the computer will randomly pick a point on the opposite wall. When the target is hit the canon will be destroyed and you will win. To precisely hit the target the user will use SOHCAHTOA to decide whether to input the hypotenuse, angle, or adjacent or opposite.

SOHCATOA Cannon

This game is intended to teach basics of Trigonometry through a canon game. Canon games have

been around for ages and are a classic game. There is a canon on the left and right side of the screen

and the objective is to use your canon to destroy the enemy canon. Usually the user will use trial and

error to eventually destroy the other canon but with this game we will give the user options to insert

the length of the hypotenuse, adjacent or opposite or the angle of shooting. This means that the

user has the option to precisely aim the cannon to directly hit the target.

When you start the game, the computer will randomly pick a point on the opposite wall. When the

target is hit the canon will be destroyed and you will win. To precisely hit the target the user will use

SOHCAHTOA to decide whether to input the hypotenuse, angle, or adjacent or opposite.
