Bloomfield  Hills  High  School  DIPLOMA  CANDIDATE  FEES  AND  IB  EXAM  ELIGIBILITY

-­‐ To  take  an  IB  DP  exam,  the  student  must  be  enrolled  in  the  corresponding  IB  course.    Charges  for  registration,  changes,  or  cancelled  registrations  will  be  the  responsibility  of  the  student.  

-­‐ All  exams  include  multiple  components  (i.e.  Internal  Assessments,  Vocal  Recordings,  Portfolio,  etc.)  aside  from  the  written  May  exam.    A  student  who  misses  any  component  of  the  exam  will  not  be  allowed  to  take  the  written  exam  and  will  forfeit  the  student  fee(s).  

-­‐ Students  who  register  for  an  IB  DP  exam  and  subsequently  drop  the  IB  DP  course  after  January  31,  2014,  will  forfeit  the  subject  fee,  as  IB  does  not  refund  fees  to  the  school.    Note:    The  IB  determines  which  fees  are/are  not  refundable;  deadline  dates  for  refundable  fees  are  listed  below.  

-­‐ Students  are  responsible  for  checking  the  Advanced  Placement  examination  schedule  in  the  CRC  before  registering  for  IB  exams  to  determine  if  exam  conflicts  exist.    There  are  no  test  refunds  for  students  who  register  for  IB  and  AP  exams  that  conflict  with  each  other.    When  IB  and  AP  exams  conflict,  students  should  check  into  the  alternate  dates  offered  by  AP.    IB  does  not  offer  alternate  testing  dates.

-­‐ Qualifies  for  free  or  reduced  lunch  -­‐ Receives  assistance  under  part  A  of  Title  IV  of  the  Social  Security  Act  -­‐ Receives  medical  assistance  under  the  Medicaid  program  under  Title  XIX  of  the  Social  Security  Act.
