Hana has also run 26.07 in the 200m and 61.03 in the 400m. She has consistently placed high at the British Colum- bia High School Championships and Provincial compe- titions. She was third at Provincials and fifth at the BC High School Championships in the 100m hurdles in 2016. During the 2015 season she was fourth in the 100m hur- dles at Provincials. She was also part of a 4 x 400m relay team that placed third at the BC High School Champion- ships in both 2015 and 2016. Hana is an excellent student and at this time is leaning towards studying exercise science at the Univer- sity of Idaho. “Hana has a quiet confidence about her that shows in her athletics and academics. She is a very talented hurdler, who has a lot of room still to develop. We are thrilled to have her as part of the Vandal family.” Hana Tyndall will shine at the University of Idaho 1. First off, why did you choose to pursue your collegiate track & field and academic career at the University of Idaho? At my visit earlier this year both the coaches and the athletes were really welcoming and friendly and all had very positive things to say about their experiences at the University of Idaho. I liked the atmosphere of the team and how education was also valued. 2. What do you plan to study in your time at the University of Idaho? I am still unsure about my major as I have several interests, but I am currently registered for Exercise Science. 3. What are you most looking forward to next year training and going to school in Idaho? I look forward to training with my new teammates, representing the University of Idaho, working hard, and living away from home in such a beautiful community. 4. If you had a personal flag or sigil, what would be on it? A cheetah shown through the lens of a camera. There would be a cheetah because I have been training with the Coquitlam Cheetahs since I was nine and that experience has helped shape me into who I am today and the camera because I am very passionate about photography. 5. What would you rate 10/10? Traveling to exotic places around the world with a group of close friends.
