ST. ANDREWS - PILGRIMAGE/DAY TRIP - 5th JULY 2018

Every year now there is a day at St. Andrews which has a procession through the streets and ends with mass. We are suggesting that we do this as a parish and give time afterwards for people to eat and sightsee etc. We will offer more details later but probably leave about 8am to return about 6pm. Just now all we asking are you to indicate if you would like to go, to see if we have enough people. Depending on the number the approximate cost of the coach would be for 25 people £16 and 49 people it would be £11 per person. Please indicate on the sheet at the back of the church NOW!

Current programme for Thursday 5th July 2018 Thursday – Mary, The Mother of the Church ”And Mary said: My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour” - (Luke 1: 46-47) Come and listen to Dana sing and share her love for Our Blessed Mother (Dana Scallon is a Eurovision Song Contest Winner, Former Politician & Pro Life Campaigner) For further info contact New Dawn Office: 0131 447 6153

or visit the event website http://www.newdawninscotland.com/

CAR PARKING.... Our neighbour across the road is constantly complaining that parishioners are blocking his driveway. We recently received an email: “ I would kindly ask you to inform your chapel-goers to stop parking over my drive, this is now the 3rd week running and I am getting rather irate about the situation, this evening i.e just now I am unable to get out my drive way due to some inconsiderate person!!!!!

If this doesn’t stop then further action will be take.”

This weekend he complained about cars: RO O5 ZAB and SB 13 YTM.

This is happening especially at the vigil mass and would parishioners allow ample road space for people to come out of their drives and turn on to the road. !!!

Please be considerate and follow street parking regulations.

There is ample space in the carpark behind the church and access through the back gate .

Are you a parent or grandparent? Be holy by patiently teaching the little ones how to follow Jesus. #SaintsToday - ( POPE FRANCIS @Pontifex )
